Wedding Planning Guide

Your dream day, perfectly planned

Building Your Wedding Budget

Sixty percent of couples say budgeting is the most stressful part of wedding planning. Start by agreeing on a realistic total figure, then allocate percentages by category: venue typically takes 30%, catering 25%, photography 10–12%, music 5–8%, and flowers 8–10%. Build in a 10% buffer for surprises.

Venue Selection

The venue sets the tone for everything. Visit at least three venues in person before deciding. Consider guest capacity, natural lighting for photography, catering restrictions, parking and accessibility, noise ordinances, and weather contingency plans for outdoor spaces. Confirm all fees in writing.

Timeline & Vendor Coordination

A detailed day-of timeline prevents chaos. Work backward from ceremony time to calculate when hair and makeup must start, when the photographer arrives, and when the rehearsal dinner should end. Share the timeline with every vendor at least two weeks before the event.
